NWA helps to keep the light of hope burning bright for families
ICT company shows why compassion and networking go hand-in-hand
Network Alliance, an established national Information and Communication Technology service provider, has initiated its successful Corporate Social Investment Program to provide much needed assistance to a local community social welfare organisation, the Danville Liggiehuis Project.
The Company has a track record of almost two decades of proactive, value-add service to the market, focusing specifically on small-to-medium businesses (the SMME environment).
It houses the most experienced and technically qualified personnel the market has to offer – expertise that is recognised by leading vendors.
Aside from its continued success in the ICT services space, The Company’s social responsibility program continues to impact on the lives of individuals and communities.
Most recently, Network Alliance, in association with Danville Liggiehuis Project, ensured that for some families, this Christmas will come to mean a whole lot more.
Danville Liggiehuis, set up by Brenda van der Merwe, is a charity that has been established to support those in need with food, clothing and other crucial items.
In her own words, Brenda explains that for the past 16 years she has decorated her house and garden with almost 50 000 Christmas lights and other decorations. The lights are switched on from 1 December to 1 January from 7pm to 11pm and serve as a reminder to local communities that there are people who care and that where there is light, there is hope.
The plight of the less fortunate and particularly this initiative, which is entirely dependent on the support of people, has caught the attention of Network Alliance.
“We are proud to be associated with- and contribute towards this worthwhile community upliftment project. Christmas is meant to be a time of joy, of celebration and of hope. Through the Danville Liggiehuis Project, we hope that we have made some contribution to making this a reality for people who truly deserve it,” says Raymond Wright, MD at Network Alliance.
