Network Alliance, eDeaf emphasise the empowerment behind technology
Network Alliance, an established national Information and Communication Technology service provider, has invested in the services of two hearing-impaired individuals, in association with eDeaf, thereby demonstrating not only its commitment to equal opportunity in the workplace, but also the relevance of technology to all people across the country.
eDeaf is a representative organisation that safeguards the interests of hearing-impaired communities. According to the Organisation Network Alliance is one of several companies that have taken the brave step of employing deaf persons and done so with great success.
“People are the essential asset in any sized company today,” says Raymond Wright, MD at Network Alliance. “While we are a technology focused business and one that advocates the business-building benefit of solution integration, we are mindful of the extent to which infrastructure can empower people.”
Aside from its continued success in the ICT services space, The Company’s social responsibility program has now impacted on the lives of two individuals.
The investment not only strengthens the Company’s HR and development portfolio, it also contributes towards its overall Empowerment rating.
Although significant, the primary purpose of Network Alliance’s association with eDeaf is to establish a lasting and meaningful relationship that will enable hearing-impaired individuals to benefit from access to technology.
The partnership has laid the foundation for the possibility of additional individuals joining the Company and management stress that the intention is to empower as many people as possible going forward.
“We are encouraged by how eager our newest recruits are and how dedicated they have proven to be to their jobs and to the Company,” Wright added.
