Hands on Treatment a frontrunner in Premier Business Award

South Africa’s premier wellness company Hands on Treatment was named a finalist in the Proudly South African Enterprise and Women-Owned Businesses category at the 3rd Annual SA Premier Business Awards.

The Awards event, organised in conjunction with the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), Proudly South African and Brand South Africa, recognises business achievers and outstanding companies across various industry and sectors.

Proudly South African Enterprise and Women-Owned Businesses is a competitive category that pays tribute to businesswomen and their entrepreneurial spirit, talent and skills acquisition in growing a successful enterprise.

Martina Laurie, a qualified chartered accountant and the CEO of Hands on Treatment is passionate about empowering, training and employing urban black women under the age of 35.

Hands On Treatment has pioneered mobile corporate massages in South Africa since 2002 and has grown from a modest Johannesburg-focused wellness and massage services company to a progressive national wellness services venture.

Growth has been organic and self managed says Laurie. “I am very honoured to receive this industry recognition. In a market that has become increasingly competitive and in which there are many hardworking, skilled practitioners, to be identified as a front runner is truly exciting.”

“We can positively change the mood, energy and teamwork of any call centre in our first engagement” says Laurie.
