Meet BI’s game-changing team in March

Decision Inc., a unique new venture comprised of three leaders in the Business Intelligence (BI) market, has been created to design, build and enable decision support solutions for clients.

The company, which incorporates ASYST Intelligence, BusinessIntelligent and the Microsoft division of DigiQuill (a Cyest company), will be formally introduced at a launch on 11 March at The Forum, The Campus, in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The four key pillars of Decision Inc. dedicate experienced consulting resources to deliver decision, advisory and strategy capabilities; data engineering; insight generation & presentation; and solution enablement and support.
Decision Inc. is headed up by CEO Nick Bell, who started the highly successful Qlikview company BusinessIntelligent in 2006. Together with his colleagues, Bell has already helped to establish a substantial customer base. This base, combined with the company’s newly added SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft and Roambi competencies, positions the business as a game-changer within the BI enablement space.

Bell believes the business demonstrates a radical shift in the application of BI within the African market. “In addition to our unique understanding of decision-making processes and related solutions, our value proposition is based on the provision of both technical skills and relevant business knowledge across the BI value chain. This will help clients to realise maximum value from their investment in decision support technology and enable them to make better decisions, faster” he says.

The launch in March is expected to attract the participation of business leaders, senior executives and other stakeholders within South Africa’s growing BI space.

“To describe this launch as a new era in BI solution development, integration and enablement is no exaggeration,” Bell adds.
