Dac Systems cements business offering with Microsoft Dynamics R3

Dac Systems, a national provider of turnkey solutions based on Microsoft products, has announced the integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 into its expansive ‘projects every ware’ business driver product portfolio.

The Company has established itself as a mainstay supplier of game-changing solutions designed to offer businesses the edge in project management and agility in overall operations.

Their solutions portfolio combines the advantages of Microsoft Project Server 2013, Microsoft SharePoint 2013 for electronic document management and Business Intelligence, Nintex for workflow, as well as Dynamics AX for the back office, on-premise cloud and mobile.

Dac Systems now offers its market access to the features of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, including advanced picking strategies that support optimised pick route and handheld devices, as well as ‘put away’ functionality.

The technology also provides new transportation management functionality to manage shipments as they leave the warehouse up to the customer’s site. This includes route management and transport cost management.

In addition to the full integration of AX to Project Server, R3 now provides a light weight integration where Work Breakdown Structures of an AX project are opened and edited in Microsoft Projects client. Resources on projects are now scheduled in AX alongside the traditional scheduling of production resources and machinery.

Other functionality offered includes integration with eCommerce and Social Media, the capability to plan budgets using workflow and excel, to import and consolidate cost centres into the corporate budget.

“This technology also offers the benefit of a Master Data Management system built on top of SQL Master Data Services. This, together with other significant benefits, represents significant value to businesses that are ready to embrace advanced solutions to better control the dynamic that is enterprise project management,” explains Gary Carter, Dynamics Practice Director Dac Systems.

The Company has confirmed that the Contoso HyperV model will be available in May.
